Weekend ke KL

Suddenly EMB ajak I pegi KL, Khamis last week.  Kelam kabut lah I kemaskan baju2 semua.  Biasanya we all akan ke rmh EMB's parents kt Bestari Jaya.  So, Friday tu we all jln2 Midvalley je...nk tgk movie HP7 pt 2, seat dpn je yg kosong....so, jln2 je la.  Nk shopping pun mmg x plan, cuma bila masuk jusco kt bwh tu terjumpa Mascarpone Cheese yg mmg I cari pun.  I beli la satu (RM24.99) nnti nk buat lagi RVC, si kakak tu dh tanya I bila nk buat lagi.  Nntilah, tggu mood rajin I dtg dulu....

I rasa lega sbb highway baru dh siap.  x perlu ikut jln bengkang bengkok lagi nk ke Bestari Jaya.  Highway ni terus keluar kt Ijok, jln straight je.  I mmg x suka lalu ikut jln yg bengkang bengkok tu...kadang2 rasa pening pun ada..

Try buat vadei

Kebetulan semalam ada lebihan dal yg I buat dalca.  Hari tu nampak kt blog LG buat vadei.  Tgk resepinya pun x susah nk buat .  So, I try buat vadei lah....guna je bahan yg ada kt rmh...Resepi kt sini.  I guna acuan bulat, sbb susah nk bentukkan vadei ni, dia berderai....mungkin ada yg x kena kot dgn vadei I ni.  Next time nk try buat lagi...tapi kena adjust bagi dia x berderai. 

Kunjungan ex-colleague

Lama dah akak AK ni nk dtg rmh.  Tapi disebabkan dia sgt busy dgn kerja2 dia, terpaksa ditangguhkan dulu.  And she is the only one yg I masih keep in touch, see each other sometimes.  Ex-colleague yg lain2 hanya 'thru email/FB...itu pun sgt2 jarang!  

Pasal kitaorg dua ni, boleh jadi close bukan apa....maybe ada certain interest yg sama kot.  Akak AK yg introduced I kt Japanese anime ni.  I pulak, peminat movie Studio Ghibli & director Hayao Miyazaki.  My first Ghibli movie yg EMB beli was "Spirited Away".  After that, I started to collect most of the Ghibli Movies.  Akak AK pun selalu bagi I borrow her CD/DVD anime.  But hey, akak AK very fluent in Japanese language (her grandmother is Japanese!).  Terkenang kisah dulu2, akak AK rajin masak.  Selalu bwk bekal food mkn kt pantry.  I selalu dpt merasa masakan dia yg sedap tu....hehehe...dptlah merasa soba mee yg dia buat sendiri (sgt rajin ini org taw..), sometimes pasta....meehoon....mcm2 lagilah...

Lps I resigned setahun mcm tu kot...akak AK pun resigned jugak sbb dia nk focus more on her translation job (she is now a certified freelance translator), ada jugak buat job utk translate korean drama for tv.  Mmg busy sgt lah dia...alhamdulillah rezeki....

Nak dijadikan cerita, soon after akak AK balik from my house, EMB pulak called, katanya the company kt Doha nk translation utk Marriage certificate we all & Birth Certificate the kids (birth cert. boleh mintak kt JPN reprint dgn bayaran RM5/each).  So, I asked akak AK lah how kan...dia kata ITNM (Institut Terjemahan Negara) boleh buat tapi lambat dan mahal....pass kt dia pun boleh.  So, EMB kata ok lah pass kt akak AK....but her fees has been reduced from normal rate la kan...cincai2 katanya utk kawan2...dah selesai satu masalah...tenkiu kak...

So, I korek semula gambar lama ni because I miss them a lot....dh nk masuk 4 tahun dah rupanya I x kerja....

Farewell Party

Last Sunday night at EMB's collegue's place, farewell party ni has been organized utk 2 org collegues dorang yg akan transfer ke tempat lain.  Everyone kena bawak satu dish la kan...pakat2 ramai2...penuh jugak meja dgn foods.  Ada BBQ ayam, udang, sotong...lamb pun ada (tapi org yg kena bawak lamb tu ada hal jadi lambat pulak dia sampai), lontong, spaghetti, pizza, kuih muih, my RVC, ice cream, buah2an...mcm2 lagi lah...FUH!!  I lega sbb RVC I mlm tu licinnn.....kids love it!!  Alhamdulillah...

Red Velvet Cupcakes

I x pernah tayang foods yg I buat sendiri kan sblm ni.  Bukan sbb I jarang masak or what, but I teramat lah maloooo sebenarnya....I langsung x berseni nk hias2 or nk bagi foods I nampak cantik...sungguh!  So, hari ni I memberanikan diri utk tayangkan RVC yg I try buat utk dibawa ke party EMB's office esok.  I x kira cantik ke tak cantik ke, this is my first attempt utk buat RVC ni.   Bila walkwalk pergi ke blog Shidah....I teruja sangat tgk cupcakes dia yg cantik tu....tambah2 lagi RVC!  Unfortunately, semalam I merayau2 cari mascarpone cheese kt kuantan tapi hampeh belaka....xde kedai yg jual pun!  So, I terpaksa guna recipe yg x pakai mascarpone cheese lah utk cream dia.  Recipe from here.

So, I dgn bangganya presenting my simple, humble homemade RVC........

He gets what he wants!!!

Kami bersyukur padaMu ya Allah....he waited so long to get this chance.  We're very very happy today.  EMB got what he wanted  so much during past few years. He had working hard for this, doing self studies...., his own calculation...giving training and so on....Seems it's been paid off now!

He went through 7 interviews before, which are 3 times phone interview & 4 times  site interview ( remember he went to Doha...it's for the interview...the air tickets, accommodation are fully sponsored by the company in Qatar, and they had arranged a driver to cater EMB too throughout his stay).  EMB told me that it was quite tough interview...and he loves the working environment there. 

He called me twice in the morning when I was in the bathroom taking shower after doing some tebas2 pokok at the fence.  But I need to call him back, as I still in the bathroom....Then after I done, I called him straightaway.....

EMB:  Dh dpt dah...

Me:  dpt apa?  

EMB:  Offer letter...

Me:  (dlm hati - dh agak dh...sbb tu beriya2 call I sampai 2 x gitu...biasa x pernah2 mcm tu kalau xde benda penting)....ok...nnti forward offer letter tu kt I...nk tgk...congratulations!!

Lunch time, back at home...signing his offerletter.....Who could resist or ignore the offer...it was sooooo...good package.....where the company give you a house to stay (free), car allowance some more (just name a few)...& lotsa benefits that I can't write here.  And of course - higher pay, tax free!

In a few months time, I have to be ready for a big move.  Pls make doa for us that everything will be smooth sailing.....
