New York Cheesecake Recipe
Yield: 1 (9 inch) Cheesecake, 12 servings
Ingredients:
1 cup (4-1/2 oz.) NABISCO Graham Cracker Crumbs

1 cup (4-1/2 oz.) NABISCO Graham Cracker Crumbs
3 Tbsp (1-1/2 oz.) sugar
3 Tbsp. (1-1/2 oz.) unsalted butter, melted
2lb. Philadelphia Original Cream Cheese, softened
1 cup (7 oz.) sugar
1 cup (8 oz.) sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
4 each eggs
Method:
1. Mix Graham crumbs, 3 tbsp. sugar and the butter, press firmly onto bottom of 9-inch springform pan. Bake in 325F-standard oven for 10 min.
2. Beat cream cheese until creamy. Add 1 cup sugar, mix well. Blend in sour cream & vanilla. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating on low speed after each addition just until blended.
3. Pour over crust.
4. Bake in 325F-standard oven for 1 hour or until center is almost set. Run Knive or metal spatula around rim of pan to loosen cake, cool before removing rim of pan. Refrigerate 4 hours or overnight.
