Al Khor is a coastal city in northern Qatar, located 50 kilometers north of the capital, Doha. The name of the city means creek in Arabic as the town is located on a creek. Al Khor is home to many employees of the oil industry due to its proximity to Qatar's northern oil and natural gas fields, and due to its proximity to the Ras Laffan Industrial City. Although it was just a "small town", it has everything here. From famous fast-food restaurant (KFC, McD, Domino's Pizza, Subway, Pizza Hut, Hardee's, Baskin Robbin - just to name a few), majority restaurants offers home delivery, just give them a call. Here also have supermarkets, small & medium sized shops such as pharmacy, tailor, coop, optician, bakery & so on. There's one shopping mall will be opening very very soon...it's called Al Khor Mall. Can't wait already...
Follow me jalan-jalan around Al Khor (but I x masuk town) - Al Corniche (Al Corniche means - Corniche in the Arabic language generally refers to a headland formed at land's end, which describes a most remote geographical border of a mainland by a water line, with a natural corner, usually, or a cliff. Source: Wikipedia), & around Al Dhakhira.
